Insert Raises $5M in Seed Funding Round

Insert, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based developer of a stealth mode software platform to facilitate mobile app deployment, raised $5m in seed funding round.

Backers included Shlomo Kramer, co-founder of Check Point Software Technologies, Imperva, and Trusteer; and Mickey Boodaei and Rakesh Loonkar, co-founders of Trusteer.

The company intends to use the funds to hire developers and product managers to complete the platform’s beta version and launch a pilot with first customers.

Established by serial technology entrepreneur Shahar Kaminitz, CEO, the founder and CEO of Worklight, a developer of software for mobile app development and infrastructure acquired by IBM in 2012, Insert aims to free app owners to leverage their mobile assets via a SaaS-based platform.
