Curiyo Raises $930K

Curiyo, a Jerusalem, Israel-based startup that operates a platform to simplify and streamline content discovery online, raised $930k in angel funding.

Backers included OurCrowd, Morton H. Meyerson, Tom Glocer, and Techra Networks.

The company intends to use funds to expand operations and add new features to the platform.

Founded by serial entrepreneur Bob Rosenschein, Curiyo has developed a platform that enables publishers to offer their readers real time contextual information about content without ever leaving the page. It is currently available for publishers via a simple integration and to consumers via a browser extension. The company has been working with several pilot publishers and will be announcing new partnerships in the near future.
