Joseph L. Rotman, founder of Toronto, Canada-based private equity firm Clairvest Group (TSX: CVG) and a member of its board of directors, passed away on 27th, January 2015.
According to a note,
Mr. Rotman founded Clairvest in 1987 with the vision of using capital and wisdom to support the development of young companies and entrepreneurs applying the values of integrity, fairness and partnership. These guiding values are and will remain core to Clairvest.
A great Canadian whose mission was to continually improve everything he touched, Mr. Rotman leaves a lasting legacy having meaningfully contributed to Canada’s business, education, healthcare and arts organizations.
