Blu Homes Inc., a Vallejo, California-based prefab homebuilder, raised $35m in funding.
The large institutional investors in the round were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow operations and increase production.
Led by Bill Haney, CEO, Blu Homes provides prefab homes that feature soaring ceilings, luxury quality finishes, and integrated high performance technologies for convenient and comfortable living. They are built in a 250,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Northern California.
