Bessemer Venture Partners Increases Efforts in Israel

bvp_logoBessemer Venture Partners, a $4 billion global venture capital firm, is increasing its efforts in Israeli presence.

The Menlo Park-based vc giant has grown the investment team and moved into a newly designed office in Herzliya led by partner Adam Fisher, newly landed Amit Karp and associate Netanel Meir (http://www.bvp.com/israel).
They consider investments in companies at all stages—from seed to growth— across software, Internet, semiconductors, storage and communications sectors.

Opened in 2007, Bessemer’s Israeli arm recently completed its 23rd deal with a cumulative $223M invested over eight years. The office counts six exits: Intucell (acquired by CSCO), Mellanox (MLNX), Wix (WIX), Soluto (acquired by Asurion), Storwize (acquired by IBM) and Traffix (acquired by FFIV).
The current portfolio includes CloudLock, CTERA, Fiverr and Ravello.

Bessemer Venture Partners has just release a note highlighting its activity in 2014 (here).
