Voxel8 Receives VC Funding

Voxel8, a Somerville, MA-based creator of a multi-material 3D electronics printer capable of printing embedded electronics and other novel devices, received a venture capital investment of undisclosed amount.

Braemar Energy Ventures made the investment.

The company intends to use the funds to grow operations.

Founded by Dr. Jennifer A. Lewis, Wyss Professor of Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University, Voxel8 is commercializing a new platform for 3D printing including functional materials, printing hardware and intelligent software that enables designers and engineers to create products with embedded 3D electronics.
