The Rounds, a Bedford, NS, Canada-based physician-only network, raised an additional $565k seed funding.
The round was led by Gordon Stewart and four angels from Alberta.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow the engineering team as they prepare a Series A fundraising effort in coming months.
Launched in private beta in February 2014 by CEO Blair Ryan, Will Harris, and Michael Clory, MD, The Rounds connects physicians to the information and experts they need to perform procedures and improve patient outcomes. The network now has members from each medical specialty and from every province in Canada.
