Metric Insights, a San Francisco, CA-based business intelligence company, secured a $2.1M in seed funding.
The round was led by First Round with participation from Aster Data Founder Tasso Argyos, Linden Lab Founder Phillip Rosedale and Aerohive Networks Founder Changming Liu.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth, and build out its sales and marketing teams.
Led by CEO Marius Moscovici, Metric Insights provides enterprise customers with a “Push Intelligence” platform that connects to their existing business intelligence tools, big data and SaaS applications to better engage with their customers.
Additionally, the company delivers patented KPI warehouse, collaboration and notification technologies that alert the users when their key business metrics change, and why.
Metric Insights’ customer base includes Barnes & Noble, Adobe, and Comcast.
