Fyndiq Raises $20M

fyndiqFyndiq, a Stockholm, Sweden-based online marketplace that connects bargain hunters to hundreds of thousands of products, raised a $20m (150MSEK) round of financing.

Backers included Northzone and Industrifonden.

The company intends to use the funds to continue growing in Sweden, as well as to launch into new markets.

Founded in 2010 by Dinesh Nayar, CEO, Fyndiq provides a marketplace for merchants to sell their products to bargain hunters. To date, more than 500k customers have bought products on the marketplace that currently contains over 220k products.
The company, which has about 70 employees at its Stockholm headquarters, raised $5m in funding from private investors such as Jan Carlzon.
