Extole, a San Francisco, CA-based referral marketing platform, raised $14m in Series C funding.
The round was led by Scale Venture Partners with participation from Norwest Venture Partners, Redpoint Ventures, Shasta Ventures and Trident Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Stacey Bishop, a partner at ScaleVP, joined Extole’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to continue development of new functionality and further accelerate growth among large national and international brands.
Led by Matt Roche, CEO, Extole provides a SaaS-based referral marketing platform that enables users to acquire new customers at scale by rewarding existing customers. Users include over 500 innovative retail, financial services, and consumer subscription brands. Among them, the list includes Advance Auto Parts, Intuit, Kraft, Seamless, Vistaprint, etc.
