Venture capital firm Zetta Venture Partners closed its maiden fund at $56.45m.
According to a filing with the S.E.C., 48 backers have invested in the offering.
Founded by Mark Gorenberg, a former managing director at Hummer Winblad, Zetta focuses on investing in analytics, a $35BN market that is expected to pass $100BN by the end of the decade.
It will invest in startups focused on disrupting healthcare and medicine, improving traffic flow in cities, education, agriculture, etc.
