Source3, a New York, NY-based provider of platform to simplify rights management and distribution of 3D content, has received initial seed funding from VanHam Ventures.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Led by CEO Patrick Sullivan and COO Tom Kurke, Source3 is an enterprise licensing and rights management platform for distribution of 3D content. The solution aggregates 3D content from brands and designers and distributes licensed designs for use within the broader 3D ecosystem, including retail and manufacturing marketplaces.
The company also provides backend infrastructure for retailers and manufacturing hubs, clearing and managing 3rd party intellectual property for physical production, as well as digital utilization in rendering, animation, search and display.
