Screenovate Technologies, a Ra’anana, Israel-based provider of solutions for the enablement of mobile devices through software, received an equity investment from Intel Capital.
The amount of the funding was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to grow operations.
Led by CEO Josh Glazer and CTO Gilad Ben-Yossef, Screenovate offers different wireless solutions that cover entertainment, productivity and education scenarios. Its technology enables smartphone and tablet users to wirelessly beam movies, games, presentations or other content from their mobile devices to their TVs or other large displays.
The company is currently working with Intel to ensure that its Wi-Dock and TVCast solutions are optimized for hardware running Intel chipsets. Screenovate is also working in close cooperation with leading hardware OEMs to bring the functionality to the market.
