Rival IQ Raises nearly $1M in Funding

rivaliqRival IQ, a Seattle, WA-based digital marketing analytics company, raised nearly $1m in funding.

Backers included existing investors Vulcan Capital, Gravity Ventures, Galvanize Venture Fund, Rudy Gadre, Kristopher Brown and Jay Baer and new investors Confluence Capital, Geoff Entress, Gary Rubens, and Jud Valeski.

The company intends to use the funds to expand engineering and marketing investments as well as global support.

Founded by John Clark, CEO, in January 2013, Rival IQ provides marketers at both organizations and marketing agencies with a Software as a Service platform delivering on-demand analytics and proactive alerts for multiple digital channels, including social media performance across six social networks (Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram), SEO keyword rankings, and website content
It currently has hundreds of paid customers across 25 countries and thousands of free users.
