Renal Services, a London, UK-based provider of dialysis services to NHS patients, raised £3.1m in growth capital.
Business Growth Fund made the investment, took a minority stake and a seat on Renal Services’ existing board.
The company intends to use the funds to open new centres across the UK.
Founded in 2007, Renal Services currently runs six dialysis centres across the UK, operating 63 dialysis stations and treating approximately 700 permanent and transient patients on behalf of the NHS.
The company employs 62 staff in its centres, located in Grantham, Havant, Launceston, Milford on Sea, Salisbury and Skegness, which manage all aspects of dialysis care including clinical, quality control, data collection, diagnostics and maintenance services.
