League Inc., a Toronto, Ontario, Canada-based new digital health and wellness platform, raised $4m in seed funding.
The round was led by Omers Ventures with Infinite Potential Technologies LP, Foundation Capital, and Real Ventures.
Led by Michael Serbinis, CEO and Founder, League is a digital health and wellness platform designed to advance application for people to live healthier lives. The company, which will initially focus on preventative health, is creating a data-rich mobile platform that gives people the power to take control of their health. Members can discover health services and build a ‘league of their own’ — a team of health professionals that work together to deliver personalized programs. LEAGUE allows users to discover, schedule, and pay for services while staying connected. The platform will store health information – including data from wearables and health applications – putting members in control of their information and giving them the ability to share data with their Lleague.
On the other hand, health professionals can connect with and provide a personalized service to their clients.
The company is currently accepting applications from health professionals and people interested in joining its beta program at www.JOINLEAGUE.com. The platform will launch in early 2015.
