IzumoBASE, Inc., a Tokyo, Japan-based provider of Software-Defined Storage solutions, received an investment from The “GB-V Growth Fund Investment Limited Partnership” managed by Global Brain Corporation.
The company intends to use the funds to complete the development of next major release of IzumoFS, and move its global expansion plan forward.
Founded in April 2012 by Dr. Jumpei Arakawa, IzumoBASE develops and licenses “IzumoFS”, a Software-Defined Storage solution that can be installed on any commoditized servers, which features multi-protocol support and inline de-duplication.
