deltaDNA, an Edinburgh, Scotland, Uk-based provider of an analytics and game personalization platform for the games industry, secured an additional $3m in Series A equity funding.
Backers included existing investors Par Equity, STV Group plc and the Scottish Investment Bank, the investment arm of Scottish Enterprise, and new strategic investor Edge Performance VCT.
The company, which has now raised $5m in toital, intends to use the funds to increase its sales and marketing reach in the US and boost adoption among global media companies.
Led by Mark Robinson, CEO, deltaDNA provides real-time personalization and player insight platform across all Free-to-Play gaming sectors. Its technology solution uses advanced data mining and predictive modelling to identify and segment different player behaviors. Through this insight, players can be targeted with real-time individually-targeted in-game messages offering personalized experiences that increase retention and revenues.
