Contactually Closes $2M Funding


contactuallyContactually, a Washington, D.C.-based provider of a relationship management platform, closed a $2m funding round.

Backers included Point Nine Capital, Boston Seed­­, Middlebridge Partners, 500 Startups, Middleland Capital, Crystal Tech and Gil Penchina’s AngelList syndicate, which includes Dave Morin (Path, Facebook), Jonathan Abrams (Nuzzel, Friendster), and Dr. Hossein Eslambolchi (former CTO of AT&T).

The company, which has raised $3.5m in total, will use the funding to further build out its engineering team and to double down on sales and marketing efforts.

Founded in 2011 by CEO Zvi Band and VP, Marketing, Alexandra Gibson, Contactually provides a SaaS platform that automatically reminds the user to follow up with important people he/she is in touch with through connecting his/her multiple accounts ­­(email, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter­­, etc.)

Contactually currently serves 7500 customers across 100 countries.
