United Ventures, a Milan, Italy-based venture capital fund, held the final close of its first fund, at €60m (approximately $80m).
LPs in United Ventures One include institutions, banks, fund of funds, and individuals. The list includes Fondo Italiano di Investimento and the European Investment Fund.
The fund invests an average of $1.5m-8m across a total of 20 companies in Italy and Europe across sectors that include Digital Technologies, Software, Mobile, Commerce and Gaming.
Launched in 2013 by Massimilano Magrini and Paolo Gesess, the firm has already invested over $20m in nine companies: MoneyFarm, Cloud4WI, Halldis, Appsbuilder, 20Lines, Marinanow, LoveTheSign and Badseed.
