The amount of the transaction was not officially disclosed.
As a result of the transaction, Fyber will become a subsidiary of RNTS Media and will continue to operate as an independent business unit under its existing leadership team. Its co-founder and CEO Andreas Bodczek will become Managing Director and CEO of the RNTS Media Management Board, and Janis Zech, co-founder and CRO of Fyber, will also join the Management Board.
The deal will also allow the company to further innovate and accelerate the development of its mobile supply side platform and support the plans to hire 60 more employees globally by the end of 2014.
Fyber provides customers including GREE International, Glu Mobile, Kongregate (a GameStop Company) and Pixelberry to integrate, manage and optimize their mobile ad revenue through a mobile supply side platform. It approximately serves 150 million unique users per month.
