Krimmeni Technologies, a San Francisco, CA-based cybersecurity company, secured $11.7m in Series A funding.
Backers included Third Point Ventures and Pelion Venture Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Third Point Ventures Managing Partner Robert Schwartz and Pelion’s Managing Director Carl Ledbetter will join Kt’s board of directors.
The company, which has now raised $12.9m in total, intends to use the funds to accelerate development of its products, to expand marketing and sales operations as well as its R&D group in Austin, Texas.
Led by David Lundgren, CEO, Krimmeni Technologies develops next-generation secure communication products and protocols that utilize underlying hardware, device-level software and cloud-based computing architectures designed for data center and IoT applications.
