Klikkapromo, a Milan-based digital couponing startup, raised an additional €600k in funding.
Backers included existing investors Andena Holding and Bincot, which now own an approximately 65% stake in the company.
Klikkapromo, which had raised €1m in 2013 (read here), intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and double the nember of members by the end of 2014 and overcome 1m members in the first half of 2015.
Led by Luciano Mazzone, founder and CEO, the company operates Kliccapromo.it, an online and mobile coupon platform for grociery shopping. It allows users to acquire items on which is active a coupon in any store and then receive the discount in the form of mobile phone charge card of oil certificates or acquire other items on social shopping sites.
The service currently counts 350k subscribers and over 20 retail companies.
