Hello Doctor, a Tel Aviv Israel-based provider of a medical mobile app, raised $700k in seed funding.
Backers included unnamed Silicon Valley angel investors from Google, Facebook and pharmaceutical firms.
Led by Maayan Cohen, CEO, Hello Doctor allows patients to control their health by uploading paper medical data such as online lab results, paper records and blood pressure trends (by taking photos or by emailing scanned records) to their mobile devices.
The app also imports data uploaded by health and fitness devices to Apple’s newly launched HealthKit on iOS8.
