Glow Raises $17M in Series B Funding

glowGlow, a San Francisco, CA-based women’s health and fertility company, raised $17m in Series B funding.

The round was led by Formation 8, with participation from Founder’s Fund and Andreessen Horowitz. In conjunction with the funding, Joe Lonsdale, founding partner of Formation 8, and Nellie Levchin, managing partner of HVF, will join Glow’s board of directors.

The company, whose total funding now equals nearly $23m, intends to use the funds to expand its product suite and grow globally.

Led by Mike Huang, CEO and co-founder, Glow focuses on providing women with more insight and information about their health.
It provides:
Glow, which track the cycle and get fertility predictions (launched in August 2013); and
Glow Nurture, which gives insights tailored to pregnancy (launched in July 2014).
The Glow app is available for free on iOS, Google Play, and Amazon; Glow Nurture is available for free on iOS.
