Eve, a San Francisco, CA-based database startup, raised $2.3m in seed funding.
Backers included Chris Dixon of Andreessen Horowitz, Sam Altman, Tom Pinckney, Sep Kamvar, and Zubair Quraishi.
The company intends to use the funds to expand the team with developers and a designer (read here).
Led by Chris Granger, a former Microsoft engineer and the founder of Light Table, Eve is building a database and an open source platform that allow users to build everything from websites to complex algorithms.
