Digital Guardian, a provider of a security solution to protect data from insider and outsider threats with a single agent, acquired Armor5, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based application and endpoint security provider.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
Founded in 2012 and led by Suresh Balasubramanian, CEO, Armor5 provides a cloud-based or on-premise solution that enables access to a company’s network, virtualizes enterprise data and applications, and provisions compliant access for every end user. The integration of With Armor5 into the Digital Guardian Management Console will allow customers to extend data protection, visibility and control of the Digital Guardian agent to cloud applications.
The company was backed by Citrix Startup Accelerator, Trinity Ventures and Nexus Venture Partners (read here).
