Boostable Raises $3.2m in Seed Financing

boostableBoostable, a San Francisco, CA-based advertising platform for marketplace sellers, raised $3.2m in seed financing.

Fuel Capital,
Auren Hoffman (LiveRamp),
David Marcus (Facebook),
Ric Calvillo (Nanigans),
Hiten Shah (Kissmetrics) and
Linda Rothenberg (Endeavor).

The company intends to use the funds to expand its partnerships beyond retail e-commerce and into new types of marketplaces such as ticketed events and crowdfunding and diversify beyond Facebook advertising to include new channels such as Google and Twitter.

Founded by Selcuk Atli and Alex Chang, Boostable is an advertising platform designed for marketplace sellers to promote themselves on channels like Facebook and Google. It integrates with marketplaces to provide a plug and play advertising solution where sellers can launch ad campaigns in minutes and see results.
The company was part of Y Combinator’s Winter 2014 class.
