Avaamo, a Los Altos, CA-based provider of a messaging app for the mobile workforce, closed $6.3m in seed funding.
The round was led by WI Harper Group with participation from Rembrandt Ventures Partners, Streamlined Ventures, Eleven Two Capital and Ovo Fund.
Created by Ram Menon and Sriram Chakravarthy, Avaamo develops a mobile messaging app designed specifically for the mobile workforce which features security, data protection and administration features.
It is available on Google Play and in the Apple Store next week.
The company, which also has offices in Bangalore, India, is currently hiring.
