Swrve, a San Francisco, CA-based mobile marketing automation company, raised $10m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Acero Capital with participation from existing investors Atlantic Bridge and Intel Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Acero’s general partner Rami Elkhatib joined Swrve’s board of directors.
The company, which has now raised $22m in total, intends to use the funds to accelerate global expansion, continue to build out its platform and hire additional sales, marketing and engineering people.
Led by Christopher S. Dean, CEO, Swrve provides mobile marketers with a mobile automation platform that delivers an “in-the-moment” understanding of the consumer interaction with their app and to build loyal relationships with their target audiences.
Swrve supports the creation of multi-touch, automated campaigns that incorporate native content editing, push notifications and “live” in-app messages supported by an A/B testing suite and a mobile analytics package.
It currently processes three billion events every day for more than 100 mobile app businesses, including Activision, Warner Brothers, Beamly, Electronic Arts and Tagged.
The company now has over 50 employees.
