PlusN_logoPlusN, an Elmsford, NY-based developer of a digital multi-band downlink carrier aggregation solution, raised $600k in funding.

Backers included Franklin “Pitch” Johnson, founder of Asset Management Ventures, Chris Brody, chairman of Vantage Venture Partners, and John Levy, executive chairman of PlusN.

The company intends to use the funds to advance its commercialization efforts.

Led by John Levy, Executive Chairman, PlusN has developed a digital multi-band downlink carrier aggregation solution for all basestations. Based on signal processing, its Smart Carrier Aggregator™ product delivers intra-band/inter-band downlink aggregation for all size basestations — traditional, small, and pico cells — and all wideband power amplifiers to enable mobile operators to combine non-contiguous band, multi-carrier, multi-technology waveforms — both in licensed and unlicensed spectrum.
