MakeLeaps Raises $600K in Angel Funding

makeleapsMakeLeaps, a Tokyo, Japan-based online quotation and invoicing solution for freelancers and businesses, raised $600k in angel funding.

Backers in the round, managed through AngelList, included Naval Ravikant (founder of AngelList), Richard Chen (of Hatena) and Dave McClure (of 500 Startups).

The company will use the funds to improve the platform, integrate it with other services, as well as to increase its sales and marketing efforts.

Co-founded by Jason Winder and Paul Oswald, MakeLeaps is an online quoting and invoicing tool for freelancers and small/medium sized businesses with users in Japan. It allows users to create, print and send invoices and optionally include the company logo.
