Breather Closes $6M Series A Funding Round

breatherBreather, a NYC-based app to rent private rooms inside cities, closed a $6m Series A funding round.

The round was led by RRE Ventures, with participation from Gary Vaynerchuk‘s Vayner/RSE, Real Ventures, SOS Ventures and others.

The company, which has raised $7.5M to date, intends to use the funds for expansion of its network.

Led by Julien Smith, CEO, Breather is a mobile app to rent private rooms inside cities. Like a car sharing service, member who need short term space to make a phone call, have a meeting, or get away can access rooms at any time for a fee.
All rooms are well designed, affordably priced, and 24/7-accessible.
The service is currently available in New York, San Francisco, and Montreal.
