Anwis Polska Sp. z o.o. a Polish producer of custom-made window coverings, received an investment of undisclosed amount.
ARX Equity Partners, the lower mid-market buyout investor in Central and Eastern Europe, and executive Jacek Gromniak, have completed the MBI of the company.
ARX and Gromniak, who will become CEO, plan to grow Anwis through organic expansion in existing and new geographies, with selective add-on acquisitions in the medium term. It currently operates in Poland and Germany and will seek to further strengthen its position in these markets, as well as looking towards international expansion in the Benelux countries and France. Follwing the transaction, Anwis founder Antoni Wiśniewski, who had led the company for 35 years, will continue supporting the company as supervisory board member.
Anwis produces custom-made window covers and components used in their production. Its offer includes dozens of window covers’ group products in interior and exterior systems, including horizontal, vertical, rolled and pleated.
The company’s sales reached €22.6m in 2013.
