Vantage Analytics, a Toronto, Canada-based provider of predictive analytics and data mining modules, received $1.1m in funding.
The round was led by Real Ventures, with participation from angels including Brad Badeau, Eric Monteiro and Mike Monteith.
The company is using the funds to hire new people and expand operations.
Founded in Toronto in 2013 by Aran Hamilton and Brandon Kane, experts in e-commerce, and big data analytics, Vantage Analytics provides business managers with a business-friendly platform built on predictive analytics and data mining modules to work with the data provided by their own customers to boost sales and influence repeat customers.
