Scale Computing Raises Funding

Scale Computing, a Indianapolis, IN-based middle market data storage company, raised a funding round of undisclosed amount.

Backers included First Analysis, the Indiana University Foundation and prior investors. In conjunction with the funding, Craig Nankervis of First Analysis joined Scale’s board of directors.

The company, which has raised more than $50m from outside investors, intends to use the funds to build out sales and marketing as well as extend its research and development.

Founded in 2009 and led by CEO Jeff Ready, Scale Computing is a pioneer in a newer data center area known as hyperconvergence offering its HC3 platform integrating servers, storage, virtualization, and management in a single automated system.
