Metanautix Raises $7M in Series A Financing Round

Metanautix_LogocopyMetanautix, a Palo Alto, CA-based big data analytics company focused on the data supply chain, raised a $7m in Series A financing round.

The round was led by Sequoia Capital with participation from the Stanford University endowment fund and from Shiva Shivakumar.

Led by Theo Vassilakis, CEO, and CTO Apostolos Lerios, Metanautix allows organizations to capitalize on all data assets by delivering insights from disparate data silos without requiring the data to be moved into one centralized system. Users can treat any data as a table, no matter its format — records, logs and documents and media. Built with distributed computing technology, and based on standard SQL, the platform provides analysts and data consumers with interactive analysis on any size of data from their preferred tools, whether the data is in the cloud, on-premises or hybrid.

Along with the funding, the company is announcing an early access program. Enterprises interested in participating can sign up at — http://metanautix.com/early-access.
