Meedoc Receives $1.5M in Seed Funding

meedocMeedoc, a Finnish real-time video app that connects patients with doctors, received $1.5m in seed funding.

Backers included Finnish healthcare industry influencers from the fields of pharma, care providers, pharmacists, doctors and medical regulations.

Meedoc has developed a proprietary CE-certified Medical Device telemedicine platform that allows users to connect with a doctor via real time video either via on-call service or by appointment. For doctors, the service provides a mobile clinic and a means to conduct follow-ups with their existing patients. Consumers pay 29€/call and companies pay 10€/month per employee for unlimited use, including prescriptions directly to pharmacy if needed.
