Helion Energy Raises $1.5M in Funding

Helion Energy, a Redmond, Wash.-based nuclear fusion startup, raised $1.5m in funding.

Backers included Mithril Capital Management and Y Combinator.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop its technology and expand operations.

Led by CEO David Kirtley, Helion Energy is developing the Fusion Engine, a low cost solution for clean, safe energy.
