All Def Digital Closes $5M in Series A Financing

All Def Digital, a Los Angeles, California-based digital consumer entertainment brand, closed $5M in Series A financing.

The round was led by Greycroft Partners, with participation from Advancit Capital, Nu Horizons Investments and e.ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Greycroft’s Mark Terbeek, will join All Def Digital’s Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its cross-platform growth, artist and talent development initiatives, original programming in comedy, music, news and poetry, branded entertainment and multi-dimensional sponsorships, and expand multi-channel network and operations.

Led by Sanjay Sharma, President and COO, and Russell Simmons, ADD is a digital consumer entertainment brand and cross-platform network built to deliver comedy, music, news, poetry and innovative artistry in all forms from the New American Mainstream to audiences worldwide.
The company recently announced a collaboration with Samsung to create ADD52, an artist discovery platform tied into an All Def channel on the MILK music streaming service.

ADD also has offices in New York.
