Venncomm, a London, UK-based creator of a smartphone app that does instant mobile free group business calls, completed a $500k seed funding round.
Backers include angels Paul Wybrow and Peter Goodman, among others.
Led by Lee Stonehouse, CEO, Venncomm is advancing Blap, a mobile app for creating instant or scheduled group conference calls. It supports calls to other app users as well as non-app mobiles and landlines so users can call a group of people wherever they are in the world, instantly or scheduled.
Blap, which is currently in Open Beta and available on the App stores, also includes Originator controlled in-App call recording, sharing and playback.
