Signature Contracting Services, L.L.C., a Grand Prairie, TX-based infrastructure contracting and services company, received a $3.5m equity investment.
TWV Capital Management‘s Texas Women Ventures Fund II, L.P. and Texas Women Ventures Fund-Side, L.P. made the investment.
The company intends to use the growth capital to service its backlog of current infrastructure projects in Texas and the Southwestern United States.
Formed in 2006 Led by Marsha Newberry, William Propes and Corey Tompkins, Signature provides construction and infrastructure services to governmental entities as well as large construction and engineering firms. It provided services on large infrastructure projects including the El Paso Border Fence, Dallas Fort Worth International Northgate Connector, Chalmette Levee Restoration, San Antonio River Walk Expansion and DART Orange Line Expansion. Signature also provides direct landscape and maintenance services to governmental entities, including irrigation services, landscape services and right of way mowing.
