Seedcamp Launches $30M Fund

According to its web site (read here), Seedcamp, a London, UK-based micro seed fund, raised $28m in the first close of its third fund.

The fund, whose final target is $30m, aims to back 100 ventures over the next four years, “with the aim of creating $1B businesses from across Europe“.
It will provide startups with pre-seed capital ($35K-$75K) and access to the mentorship and networking platform as well as back alumni, mentors, investors, and founders who want to accelerate their seed stage startups with next stage capital ($75K-$250K).

Backers include global investors from China, Russia, Europe and the Valley.
