Qubitia Solutions, a Pontevedra, Spain-based software platform for developing trading algorithms for any type of financial asset, closed a €500k in its first round of funding.
The round was led by “la Caixa”, through its venture capital arm Caixa Capital Risc, with participation from Xesgalicia, and a group of business angels.
Established in October 2011, Qubitia has created a software platform for developing trading algorithms for any type of financial asset, both for institutional clients (professional managers and investment banks) and for individuals.
Its platform, known as QCAID, allows them to design, analyse, and execute its investment strategies in an automated and centralised manner, in real time, and without any programming knowledge.
Since 2012, the company has worked with major international brokers and stock markets and recently integrated its trading model creation system into the Visual Trader platform, an affiliate of BME (Bolsas y Mercados Españoles).
