Pinterest, a San Francisco, CA-based platform to discover ideas for projects and interests, acquired Icebergs, a Barcelona, Spain-based visual organization startup.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Icebergs’ team, led by César Isern, Co-founder, CEO, Albert Pereta, Co-founder, Creative Director, and Jaume Casado, CTO, will join the Pinterest headquarters in San Francisco shutting down its its mobile app and services on September 1.
Co-founded Ben Silbermann and Evan Sharp, Pinterest is available on Web, Android, and iOS. The company is venture backed and has over 300 employees.
