Metooo, a Naples, Italy-based platform for event storytelling, completed a €450k second funding round.
Backers included various unnamed business angels.
The company, which had already raised €60k in November 2013, intends to use the funds to continue to develop the platform and expand abroad in UK, USA and Canada.
Co-founded in 2013 by Ferdinando Caruso (CEO) and Ciro Esposito, Metooo allows managers to create and manage the entrance ticket to events, check in every attendee and obtain instant payment. Users can also promote event via email, facebook, flyer-sharing on blog and mobile app.
The service currently counts 5,000 users.
In conjunction with the funding, Riccardo Romeo will join as president.
