Leanplum, a San Francisco, CA-based mobile app analytics and optimization company, raised $4.8m in funding.
Shasta Ventures made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its offering by launching Leanplum Marketing Automation to mobile marketers.
Founded in 2012 by Momchil Kyurkchiev, Co-Founder and CEO, Leanplum provides an integrated optimization solution for mobile apps allowinf developers, product managers and marketers to optimize content and messaging in real-time, providing insight with analytics.
Its new Leanplum Marketing Automation is a mobile messaging feature that enables marketers to create, automate and test targeted in-app messages and push notifications to users. It comes integrated with the company’s existing content management, mobile A/B testing and analytics solution and is currently available for iOS, with support for Android in private beta.
Leanplum graduated from the TechStars Seattle program.
