eSKY Receives €11.5M Investment from Syntaxis Capital

eSKY, a Polish online travel agent operating in Central Europe, received an €11.5m investment from Syntaxis Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to broaden the existing portfolio of services, accelerate its geographical expansion, and pursue add-on acquisitions in Europe and Latin America. A small part of the investment was used to buy out one of its minority investors.

Founded in Poland in 2004 by Piotr Stepniewski, President of the Board, eSKY is one of the largest online travel agent in Central Europe. The company provides comprehensive travel services to individuals, centred around the sales of airline tickets, for both traditional as well as low-cost carrier flights. In addition, its online platform offers complementary travel related services, such as hotel bookings, railway tickets or insurance.
It operates in Poland, Bulgaria and Romania and Brazil, as well.
