Zenefits, a San Francisco-based HR and benefits startup, raised $66.5m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and Investment Venture Partners (IVP) with participation from SV Angel, Hydrazine Capital, Elad Gil, and Jared Leto.
Launched just over a year ago by Parker Conrad, CEO, Zenefits provides an online platform to manage payroll, benefits, HR, and compliance. The company currently serves more than 2,000 small and medium-sized businesses and their 50,000 employees.
It has now raised $84m in funding. Previous rounds included the following:
