TextMaster.com, an Etterbeek, Belgiim-based online platform for translation, content writing and proofreading, raised €1m in a second round of funding.
Backers included Alven Capital, eFounders and Cedric Siré (founder of Webedia Group), who joined current business angels Fabrice Grinda (founder of OLX), Thibaud Elzière (founder of Fotolia) and Geoffroy Bragadir (founder of Empruntis).
The company intends to use the funds to pursue its expansion into Germany and Asia as well as to prepare for a third round.
Founded in 2011 by Benoit Laurent and Thibaud Elzière, TextMaster is an online platform for translation, content writing and proofreading for customers to grow their online presence and reach a global audience. The services are available through the TextMaster.com website, API and plugins for WordPress, PrestaShop, Transifex and Microsoft Office in more than 15 languages to over 50 countries worldwide.
